Loughlin's Darah Star is one of the most elegant of our Saanen herd. We purchased her from Chris Loughlin's herd as a spring kid in 2011, gave her wings to fly, and fed her out on plenty of attention and nutrition. The results, as you can see, have been more than rewarding.
Loughlin's Darah Star is sired by of Companeros I'm a Rock Star who comes of Loughlin's Shesastonecoldfox and Companeros Voice of Reason lineage. Her dam, Loughlin's Darah, has Cherrypines Mr Peterman and Windsor Manor AA Victor to her credit as ancestors.
The results: Darah Star, beautifully correct, beautifully blended. She has a long level top line, strong legs and pasturns, well formed hooves with plenty of heal. Her head is pretty and has good width with prominent eyes and adequate muzzle capacity.
Broad chest with prominent brisket and equally wide escutcheon with a precocious udder hold great promise that this doe will grow out to be a strong contender in the show ring as well as a mainstay producer in our milk parlor.
Loughlin's Darah Star was bred to Loughlin's Way to Shine and kidded on February 12th 2013 with a very nice buckling. You can see his photo and pedigree at CROSSTIMBERS LWS GIBRALTAR
We will repeat this breeding next year and hope for a doeling!
